Before I return it, I thought I would share a few of my experiments and results w/ the iPhone 3G I’ve come to really like, but just can’t figure out how to keep it’s charge up. I also have a heck of a time using it for work, but that’s not Apple’s Fault.

Surfed less, in too many meetings.

Wednesday, 10:30PM had not quite hit 20% battery notice

So, I’m not seeing a ton of consistency here. According to my reading Location Services and 3G are the key drains. But if I wanted an Edge non-GPS iPhone I would have bought one 12 months ago. I hate to go back to my Blackberry Pearl, but the Bold is coming out soon … what to do? Get a spare iPhone 3G and do a sim-swap mid-day? keep it plugged into my laptop all the time? (that’s real mobile). For just another $50 I can carry around another gadget.
What do you do?
